  It's been a while since I've posted anything here. While I have a moment, I thought I'd enlighten those who read my journal with a little insight on what's new.

Jessie and I started, last night, Bikram Yoga. Bikram Yoga is basically a yoga class inside of a room that is heated to 105 degrees. Yes, so you sweat a bunch and sweat some more. The class lasted 90 minutes and I wasn't able to perform all the poses, but I gave it my best. Jessie and I were both hurting to get outside where it was nice and cool, but the instructor encouraged us to stay and at least watch the poses. We did, but it didn't come easy.

Eaben is getting busy. He's running, jumping, and skateboarding. We also have a snare drum we let him beat on. Just today, I put his Green Bay Packers cap on. He and I went outside and played chase. He'd run around and I'd chase him. Simple as that. He's still a small lad, but healthy as can be. Occasionally, Eaben, Half Pint(our dog) and I will go for walks at night to get Eaben to mellow out. Tonight though, we just ran around.

Musically, I've been going through an old school hardcore kick. Playlist consists of the following:

In My Eyes

And so on. I even have broken out some old Rage Against the Machine. Then today, I started listening to The Promise Ring and Texas Is The Reason. I'm serching for some Abnegation still and some Creation is Crucifixion. Anyone(hint hint jamie hint hint), want to get rid of their old metal/screamo records or perhaps burn them to cd for me!?

I've come to realize my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I get to cook. I love cooking for people. And then I get to eat my food I cook. It's also an excuse to get the family together. So yeah, it's my favori

  Portraits of Past is so fucking good.

Spazz, Infest, Fuck On The Beach are all amazing.

Yage is pretty good. I haven't listened to them all that much, but I'm way into them so far.

Orchid could be one of my favorite bands ever.

Darkest Hour could be one of the most intense and emotionally charged bands out there.

  We're 4-0. We have the Bears on Sunday at home. The Bears are playing like garbage, and we should win that game. Am I the only one who is excited?! We're playing damn good and it seems like the team is healthy and playing well and excited to play. Look at Brett, he's playing like a kid again.

  Maybe because I've never been in a hateful relationship. Maybe because I've never felt THAT much anger that it would make me want to punch the person I love. Maybe, just maybe, I really do have respect for the person I would call my girlfriend or wife.

I am watching probably one of the best comedies on TV, COPS, and they're called out to a domestic disturbance. The police officer gets the guy to put his hands on the hood of the car for safety or whatever and asks him what's going on when the guy's "old lady" comes over and slaps him and curses at him. So the cop detains her. The cop asks her if this is the first time he has beaten her and she says no, at the same time she's yelling and cursing that her husband is the devil and so forth. The cop asks if she wants to press charges. And here's the best part. She says no, calms down right away and says no. The cop says, "Why are you still with him."

"Because I love him." And she's totally calm when she says that. And then goes on to say, "He pays my bills."

I don't know about you, but that's fucking funny. Why would anyone want to be in a relationship that's anything BUT love?
